Spend the night in the House from A Christmas Story or The Bumpus House!
We offer 3 overnight accommodations.
House from A Christmas Story:
Spend the night reliving your favorite movie and sleeping in the boys beds. Overnight guests have use of the House’s private third floor loft for the entirety of their stay and use of the whole House from an hour after closing until 9 am the following day. Please note the we have extended tour hours during the Christmas season. The House can accommodate up to 6 guests per night. The loft area is equipped with a bedroom, living room, full kitchen and full bath. Sleeping arrangements include a queen bed, queen sleeper sofa and the boys twin beds. The rate for bookings begins at $545 per night and varies with the season. Included with your stay in the House is a free tour of the House from A Christmas Story and Museum.
The Bumpus House:
The Bumpus House is located just to the left of the House. It is the of home the hillbilly neighbors, the Bumpuses, and their hound dogs. . The motif for the interior of The Bumpus House is vintage eclectic in a 1940’s style with a slightly hillbilly Bumpus flare while still providing all the modern amenities.
The Bumpus House has two accommodations: The “Hound Dog Haven” suite on the first floor can accommodate up to 4 guests per night and the “Stolen Turkey”suite, which encompasses the second and third floors, can accommodate up to 6 guests per night. Guests can also rent the entire house. A first-floor dual access door allows for the whole house to be rented. Rates start at $195 per night and vary with the season.
Bookings for either Bumpus suite do NOT come with free admission to the House or Museum. For guests staying in The Bumpus House admission to the House from A Christmas Story is available for an additional fee. Tickets can be purchased on site at our Gift Shop.
Each suite receives ONE dedicated spot in our parking lot.
The first-floor suite is handicap accessible with ramp access and accessible features inside.
Sorry, No Hounds Dogs:
Sorry there are no hound dogs on the property and you cannot bring your own. The only animals permitted in either house are service animals for individuals with physical disabilities.
